This weeks Sunday-treat-experiment was a hit! But how can you go wrong with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and coconut? The only thing I would change about this dessert is the number of calories! In fact, one of the names my son suggested for it was “Cavity in a Pan” I had to laugh. But calories and cavities aside, one square of this treat is enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. To call it...

Okay, so this is not a “family favorite” because I have two kids who hate mustard. But it is one of my favorite dinners. I originally tried a recipe similar to this, but it was served as whole chicken breasts. I have adapted the recipe and made it casserole style to feed the whole gang.

This is a great recipe for those avoiding gluten, milk, soy, and eggs. For milk...

I love making my own cake mixes using the labels here on Irresistibly Gluten Free. Then if I want to make cake, cupcakes, or even cookies it is quick and easy.

I made cookies using the White Cake mix a while back, they were so much like the chocolate chip cookies I remember from my wheat days it was hard to believe they...

If you are looking to really impress a breakfast guest look no more. This syrup is so divine you’ll want to put it on everything! It has a buttery, caramel taste that will knock your socks off. My favorite is to put it on french toast. (I sprinkle a little cinnamon in my egg mixture when making french toast. The caramel and cinnamon combo is excellent.)

This recipe can be made Dairy Free by using...

Who doesn’t love Banana Bread? I know it is a favorite at my house. And not just for a snack. We like to make what we call the “Ultimate Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich” by putting peanut butter and bananas between two slices of banana bread. Divine! Or just peanut butter on the banana bread is a terrific sandwich when packing for a picnic. The banana bread stays so soft and moist, it...

The first time I made Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup my 4 year old son would have nothing to do with it because of the wild rice. Then we explained that the “black” rice was “Super Power-Up Muscle Building Rice” and that he didn’t have to eat it if he didn’t want to, because his big brothers loved to eat it, and it would only make them stronger than him and they were...

A great way to make breakfast on the go is to make pancake-breakfast-sandwiches.  I often make a triple batch of pancakes from Irresistibly Gluten Free (page 30) and assemble the sandwiches and put them in individual baggies and freeze them. Then the kids can grab one on those mornings they are in a hurry and just warm them in the microwave.

The best thing about the White Cake and Chocolate Cake recipes in Irresistibly Gluten Free is how versatile they are (well, aside from the fact that their taste and texture is amazingly like a cake made from wheat flour!)

We have a family tradition of making a treat every Sunday, often this is when we experiment with new recipes. My kids love making new treats, but they love...

Making rice pudding is my families favorite way to use up left-over rice!
