My kids don’t really like bell peppers, or lots of onions for that matter. But I miss fajitas for dinner. Well, problem solved. Here is a recipe for fajitas with something much more tasty than peppers and onions. Instead this recipe uses mushrooms and bacon, beat that!

You may have seen this chicken salad on a croissant, but I enjoy it wrapped in lettuce. It is a cool, sweet, crisp and refreshing salad, perfect for a summer picnic.

For an awesome summer treat try making homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches. They are easy to make, and keep in the freezer for weeks. So make a big batch and have one whenever you want. (Unless you are a kid, then, ask your mom if you can have one and just HOPE she says yes!)

I love it! Fresh garden vegetables for dinner just can’t be beat. I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks. I thought I’d start posting some of our favorite meals from the garden for those who, like me, are ready to have some of that weeding pay off.
