Have you tried GLUTINO pretzels? They are AMAZING! The other night as I was munching on some I thought to myself “Wow, these pretzels are good. But they would be great with some caramel and some chocolate!”

So here is my little concoction, born of a wicked late-night craving.

Ingredients:

10 Caramels (like Kraft Caramels, check labels for gluten ingredients)

20 Glutino Pretzel Sticks

About 2/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Unwrap caramels and place on a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 5 seconds, turn each caramel over and microwave another 5 seconds. Repeat if needed to get the caramels slightly softened (not hot or gooey.)

Using a clean surface and a rolling pin, roll a caramel to about 4 1/2 inches long. Cut in half, and roll each around a pretzel stick. Set aside. Repeat this step until all 20 pretzels are covered in caramel.

Put chocolate chips in a glass, microwave safe bowl and microwave for about 30-40 seconds, stopping to stir until all chips are melted and stir smooth.

Dip each caramel-covered pretzel in chocolate and set on wax paper to cool. Enjoy!

Note: To make chocolate dipping easier, break the inner teeth off of 2 plastic forks and use one in each hand to dip and drain the chocolate.

And thank you GLUTINO for making such awesome gluten-free pretzels!
