Even adults will find themselves  begging for Mac & Cheese with this tasty twist on an old favorite.

Using Tinkyada Brown Rice Pasta Penne, I made the Mac and topped it with this easy, yet amazing Parmesan Cheese sauce. I also added a can of chicken and had a fast dinner everyone loved.

This dish goes great with Bread Sticks.

IGF_POST_MacNCheese Ingredients:

1 (18 oz) bag Tinkyada Brown Rice Penne Pasta

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon minced garlic

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup milk

3/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion salt

    1. Prepare pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside. ( I usually find Tinkyada pasta works best if you boil it in a LOT of water, and stir frequently.)
    2. In a sauce pan heat butter and saute the garlic a minute or two until golden. Add milk and softened cream cheese and whisk until creamy. Add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and stir until the cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
    3. Pour sauce over cooked noodles and gently stir to coat evenly.

Add a (14 0z) can of drained whole chunk chicken breast to make it a meal!
